About the Series

AC on the World Stage

The Beach Soccer AC Summer Series transforms Atlantic City's boardwalk into a World Cup destination. As part of the official FIFA World Cup 2026 Choose NYNJ initiative, free public programming runs every Saturday and Sunday from opening day through the World Cup Final — right on the sand in front of Stockton University's Esports Innovation Center.

Expect live beach soccer, watch parties for World Cup matches, esports activations, community vendors, and family programming that celebrates the beautiful game.

What to Expect

Every event day runs the same general program. Individual days may feature special World Cup match watch parties and guest activations.

Community organizations arrive to set up tables and tents before the public arrives. All partners on-site by 9:45 AM.

The beach is live from 10 AM to 4 PM. Open pick-up games, skill stations, youth clinics, organized matches, and freestyle play run continuously. Drop in at any time — all skill levels welcome.

Stockton University's Esports Innovation Center is open all six hours. Drop in for open gaming, Rocket League and FIFA 2026 tournaments, esports demos, and interactive activations — no registration needed.

Local nonprofits, civic organizations, and government agencies are set up on the boardwalk all day. Connect with neighbors, learn about local programs, and pick up resources from the community organizations who make Atlantic City home.

FIFA World Cup Watch Parties
When the World Cup matches kick off — typically at noon or later — we broadcast them live inside the Esports Innovation Center. Free to attend. Pull up a seat and watch history with the community.

Event Closes — Load-Out Begins
All programming ends at 4 PM. Partner load-out must be complete by 5 PM.
Everything runs concurrently. Beach soccer, esports, and community tabling are all live from 10 AM to 4 PM every event day — there's no set order and no ticketing. Show up whenever you want and stay as long as you like. Watch parties activate when FIFA matches kick off, typically around noon.

Part of the World Cup

The Esports Innovation Center is hiring a limited number of Stockton University students for paid event-day positions throughout the Beach Soccer AC Summer Series. This is a real paid opportunity — not a volunteer role — and spots are limited. Students will work directly alongside EIC staff, Atlantic City FC, and community partners as part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 experience right on the Atlantic City boardwalk.

Open exclusively to currently enrolled Stockton University students. Must be available for at least one event-day shift.

Two Shifts Available

Students select their preferred shift when they sign up. No full-series commitment required — apply for the dates and shifts that work for your schedule.
Morning Shift
8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Covers pre-event setup, opening, and the first half of all programming. Arrive at 8 AM for pre-event prep before the public arrives at 10 AM.
Afternoon Shift
12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Covers afternoon programming, World Cup watch parties, and full event breakdown. Stay through load-out, which must be complete by 5–6 PM.

Not a Stockton student? We still want your energy. Community volunteers from Atlantic City and the surrounding region are welcome to join the team for any event day — no experience required. This is a volunteer (unpaid) role, but you'll be part of something special: the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the Atlantic City boardwalk.

  • 🚌NJ Transit buses serve Atlantic City from across the region. The Boardwalk is a short walk from the Atlantic City Bus Terminal.
  • 🚆Atlantic City Rail Line terminal is a short walk up the Boardwalk.
